Documentary film. According to Hamilton Archives at Hartford Hospital, now owner of the Institute for Living, the Institute was established in 1822. Dr. Charles Burlingame rejuvenated the Institute in the 1930s and 1940s complete with landscaping by Frederick Law Olmsted. The people seen in the film are staff members not patients. Reel 1: Color.
