Diseased potatoes cause big losses for farmers in northern Maine. Includes approx. 30 seconds of b&w footage, which voiceover indicates was shot in 1920. Three-part series: aircuts, then aircuts with on-set lead-ins and tags and interviewee name supers. Later on tape: stories on potato farming in Idaho; United States Department of Agriculture film (b&w, si.) titled, 'The How and Why of Spuds' (appears to be source of footage noted above).
