Discussion of Peterborough Dinner, MacDowell Arts Colony (with artists George Tsontakis, Marilyn Dintenfass, and Zigi Ben-Haim), New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Temple Mountain Ski Area, and the Carmelite St. Joseph’s Monastery. Includes clips of interviews with Peter Forssell, Cynthia and Gary Martell, Catharine Sage, the first female lawyer in New Hampshire to have a private practice, colony caretaker John Sieswerda, Sandy Eneguess of Temple Mountain Ski Area, Father Paul Fohlin. The episode ends with a preview for a Chronicle episode about Lake Placid, New York, and a rehearsal of the Monadnock Chorus.
