Aircheck Chronicle: Cops Who Kill - Understanding handicaps - Live Interview Conrad Denis Mon. May 3, 1982
Boston Police Stress Program is the focus of the initial segment with interviews by police who have been on the job and by circumstance killed someone while in the line of duty; the second segment featured several children with disabilities, referred to in this report as handicaps, and the effort to mainstream them in classrooms. These programs in communities outside of Boston are spotlighted with interviews among children and adult educators; Guest animal humanitarian Conrad Denis invited sponsors to adopt pets from his shelter. Specific Viewing Notes or Cautions: Children are interviewed, and disabilities are discussed in ways that some may find offensive. There are segments of black screen for commercial breaks.
