Title: “Teen Scene”. Andria Hall hosts a forum. Includes segments from a Chronicle episode about gun violence, with interviews with Esther Price, whose son Terry was shot. Hall talks with the teen panel members, including Hector Galarza, Ned Sahin, and Christina DeVaughn. She also takes comments from the audience, including Rev. Eugene Rivers of the Azusu Christian Community, Luis Velez of Boston Children’s Services, Robert Lewis, Jr. of City Year, and Karen Panasevich, M.S.W. of Lewis Middle School. They discuss encounters with police, stereotypes, role models, media [clip of Calvin Klein commercial with Mark Walberg], safe sex, and teen pregnancy. Highlights several local programs for teenagers.
