Title: “A Private Peace, with Mike Barnicle”. Mike Barnicle travels to Vietnam with three Vietnam War veterans, John M. Hurley Jr., Thomas J. Vallely, and Ernest “Ernie” Washington. They reflect on their experiences and the loss of fellow soldier William Walter “Sunny” Davis Jr. Barnicle interviews the US veterans, the Davis Family, Vietnamese civilians, soldiers, and veterans. Includes footage of combat during the Vietnam War. Locations include Ho Chi Minh City, Huế, Hanoi, the Hien Luong Bridge on the Bến Hải River, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC.
