Opening Alison in the Bookmobile driving intro. Kids playing basketball. Bookmobile pulls up. Alison is reading “The Planets in Our Solar System.” She makes the ball orbit around like the moon. She introduces the cartoon. Book: “Moon Man” by Tomi Ungerer (1967) Back to the kids and Alison. They talk about gravity and go into the bookmobile. Commercial break – a few seconds Kids looking at books about planets and the moon. Alison asks question:" “What do you think it’s like to live on the moon?” Montage of kids answers. Go into the magic book to visit planet Ping. Discover aliens, Nikki Tilroe puppets. They sing song “Zooks” Commercial break – Black Bill Cook with a telescope. Sees the kids and Alison on planet Ping. He speaks to the camera about constellations. Tells a Washoe Native American story about Coyote and how the stars came to be. Commercial break – Black Your Story: “Our Great Trip to Nowhere” Written and Illustrated by Bruce Chao Kids recommend more books about the moon while the credits roll
