Reporter, in voice over, describes the difficulty of current-day life as a hockey player. An unidentified player, in a stand up interview, says he expects to be asked to take a pay cut. Silent footage of game play follows that includes some segments of Dave Keon, who is now with the Hartford Whalers. In another voice over, the reporter sets up comments from a locker room interview with Keon about the prospect of the two professional hockey leagues merging.
