[Colby] interviews people on street in wake of Margaret Chase Smith announcing her interest in campaigning for president. Asked if they would vote for a woman for president. Woman says she doesn't "believe women are as capable as men" and man says, "I think the country could stand a change in the sex of the presidency." Another woman says, "woman's place is in the home and I stick to that." Man says women are "lucky to be congressmen," another man says, "yes, if she's good-looking." A third woman says "I would sure" "because all the things that are happening today will be accomplished by women." A final man says, "Generally women control everything, so might as well let the women take over for a while." Possibly on Congress Street outside the Congress Square Hotel. Behind the scene is "Chefs Corner" (restaurant?).
