Collection contains [Mahlon Walsh--home movies], summer and winter scenes of family life in Freeport, Maine. Collection also contains footage of downtown Freeport streets and people, an election, and the fire at the Old Freeport Baptist Church. Other footage shows 1939 New York World's Fair.
Mahlon "Babe" Walsh (1901-1982) was a Freeport, Maine, native and town barber from 1926-1966. The 1939 New York World's Fair opened in April with ceremonies at Flushing Meadows, NY.
