Processing notes: Small town girl graduates from beauty school, thanks to advice from her high school guidance counselor, and goes to the big city. More beauty school and she is on her way to 'perfecting the pin curl' and becoming a high-powered beautician. She meets supportive friends and teachers , and will hopefully become a member of the National Hairdressers and Cosmetologists Association (NHCA). If she rises to the top, she will be selected for the official Hair Fashion Committee, 'America's Foremost Hair Fashion Authority.' End titles explain why the NHCA is important and that they do not make product endorsements in film. 'Film presented in the interests of the hair dressing profession by Rayette, Inc.'
