These scenes appearing in this reel are outtakes or duplicates of scenes from the edited films produced by The Maine Sea Coast Mission.
A casket is loaded aboard Sunbeam at one end of the trip and a hearse drives away. Views of household goods on dock waiting to be loaded onto the ship. At the other end of the trip, the casket is taken off the ship. Extended views of raging sea and waves during a storm on the coastline. Huge breaking waves over shoreline. Views of whale splashing and lobtailing near Cape Porpoise. Large fluffy clouds over the sea, then shots of sea smoke over the ocean. Sunbeam is beached for painting and repairs at Seal Harbor, as two men look her over and work on her. Shots of Sunbeam III steaming across a bay. Residents help put a sick patient onboard at Monhegan Island. Views as Sunbeam passes by Fort Popham and the Popham lighthouse, and other lighthouses on the coast, including Squirrel Point and Perkins Island. Four passengers on Sunbeam pose with a car that is being transported on deck. Views of Eagle Island lighthouse off Deer Isle.
