AbstractIntertitles: “Maine The Land Of Remembered Vacations” “Official State Picture, Maine Development Commission, State House, Augusta, Maine” Reel 85 is a promotional film about hunting with dogs for woodcock in a woodcock cover at a Maine sporting camp with intertitles throughout. The footage includes men and women with guns and dogs at a sporting camp, the hunters and dogs getting out of a car and walking through a marsh and a field, dogs searching fields, forests and brush for woodcock, pointing out their location and flushing them out, hunters shooting at birds, dogs retrieving the downed birds, the hunters starting a fire, cooking and eating lunch, the dogs eating, the hunters and dogs resting, shots of the surrounding countryside, trees with their autumn foliage and a few shots of the sun setting.
