Intertitles: “Maine the Land of Remembered Vacations” “Official State Picture Maine Development Commission State House Augusta, Maine” Reel 76 is a promotional film about Maine apples and apple growing with intertitles throughout. The footage includes a shot of a sign that reads, “State of Maine It takes Maine soil Maine climate and a Maine grower to produce a Maine Apple Apples”, men transplanting trees, a man trimming a tree, men dusting using a machine on the back of a horse drawn cart, a man spraying the trees from a tractor, rows of apple trees with their blossoms in bloom, people thinning the trees, women using ladders to pick apples, putting them in baskets and emptying the baskets into crates, men loading the crates onto a cart attached to a tractor, driving it to the warehouse and unloading the crates, a woman packing a crate of apples, crates being loaded onto a truck marked “Boston and Taunton Transportation Co.”, the truck driving away, a woman eating an apple, rows of apple trees with fruit and a shot of a sign for B.H.
