1975
A&B rolls for documentary about Vinalhaven Island lobstering, completed February 1975. Synopsis received with the film elements: 'a candid look at life in a small fishing community in Maine whose inhabitants are still trying to make a living by fishing independently. They [are] caught between the need to protect their independent rights and an acute awareness that theirs is a dying industry, threatened by the rising cost of living and the foreign fleets. Their fears, which have been eased by the passing of the 200 mile limit fishing bill, are indicative of the fears of the entire United States fishing industry.'
