Uel Garner, director of Sunday River Ski Resort, talks during a studio interview about the improvements made during the past year; the school is now teaching the American style uniformly; there is new equipment to handle the snow; there are some new trails; some of the roads leading to the resort have been improved; Don MacWilliams interviews an instructor "John" out on the slopes about learning to ski; teaching young skiers to walk, and then the snow plow is the first part of the American technique; controlled skiing is the object of the lessons; students can be seen in the background; MacWilliams talks with a series of local leaders about the resort's future; among the comments are that there are larger plans for the resort; that the ski school is very important to the resort and that the masters program has expanded the base for those who enjoy the sport;
