Chronicle
Title: “Chronicle Monday September 30, 1985”, “Cosby Clones and Copy Cops”, “Tuning in to the Fall Season”. Mary Richardson and Andria Hall introduce a segment on television programs. Arnie Reisman reports on canceled television programs, and upcoming shows with similar plots to ‘The Cosby Show’ and ‘Miami Vice’, including ‘Hollywood Beat’, ‘The Insiders’, ‘Charlie and Company’, and ‘Growing Pains’. Other shows highlighted include: ‘Our Family Honor’, ‘Stir Crazy’, ‘Hometown’, ‘Spencer: For Hire’, ‘The Equalizer’, ‘Amazing Stories’, ‘George Burn’s Comedy Week’, and ‘Golden Girls’. Mary Richardson reports on the making of ‘Blind Alleys’, with Pat Morita and Cloris Leachman. Includes interviews Bill Cosel, Cloris Leachman, Pat Morita, and James Coppersmith. Mary Richardson reports on a program to collect can and bottle donations to help unhoused people. Episode ends with the first few minutes of ‘Blind Alleys’.
