Greylock is a western area reservation for camping; a 92-foot tower was built as a lighthouse commemorating the soldiers of WWI; some of the visitors and residents of the area are interviewed about their attachment to the landscape and history; footage of early skiing; amateur radio operators use the mountain's height to reach other clubs; a soaring club, gliders using the lift from the terrain, love the mountain, too; the cause of the rock slides on the south side are explained; the surrounding area's economic development is discussed; Gary Schiff, Tony Cafaro, Laurie Martinelli, and George Wislocki are interviewed; WMGT first broadcast on the mountain with many problems;
