On the Road/ includes commercials in the taping; Peter Mehegan's 1969 Chevrolet is refurbished for the trips on the road; the road trips begin in Friendship near Rockland; Harlan's Corner Store is visited; John Gould is interviewed; Sheila's Shanty is a stop; Sprucehead and Lobster Lane Bookshop along Penobscot Bay are visited, and then Rockport and the apprentice shop in wooden boat building; then to Union and "Maine's Best" bottled water; Intro the Annual Music Awards with Diana Ross singing.
