Outdoor concert, second hour, featuring the “Spirit of Massachusetts” and popular composers Anderson, and Cohen, and swing era bandleader compositions like those of the Miller Band. Midway through the program, a sing-along is offered, and the concert closes with a presentation of the “Stars and Stripes” accompanied by a laser light show. Following a commercial break, a brief interview with conductor Dickson closes the broadcast. A news brief for the death of actor Ted Knight appears and is cut off as the recording ends. Specific Viewing Notes or Cautions: All the advertising commercials of the broadcast are included in the recording. These are for soft drinks, automobiles, clothing, and political candidates.
