AbstractTitle: “Senior Year with Mary Richardson”. Mary Richardson hosts a special that follows students at Milton High School through their senior year. Includes students Amy Ford, [Elsbeth Ablor?], Jose [Figarroa?], Paul Joyce, [Sarah Kickham?], Jeff Hunt, as well as Gregory Anrig, President of the Educational Testing Service at Princeton, New Jersey, Robert Brooks, Clinical Psychologist at McLean Hospital, teacher Pam Reardon, Rena Mirken, Milton High School Assistant Principal, Paula Evans of Brown University, Peter Greer-Dean of the B.U. School of Education. Discussion of various students’ experience. Concerns over American students falling behind students from other countries. Students on a college tour. Taking the SATs. Discussion with student Jim Bose about the suicide of his older brother, former Milton High student Patrick Bose. Discussion of teaching styles and student boredom. Footage of Japanese schools. Discussion of drugs, alcohol and sexually transmitted diseases. Prom. Graduation.
