Citizens' Summit II: [reel 1] Women to Women; Leningrad to Boston, women ask questions of each other hosted in the U.S. by Phil Donahue. Questions included Chernobyl, and the limits on nuclear power; black screen breaks; several questions centered around national armed service among the women and their attitudes about that service; questions were asked about preschool daycare and medical care, and the proportion of men to women; the topics of abortion and teen pregnancy are discussed; there are questions about pornography; the topics of divorce and single parenthood are discussed; homosexuality is a criminal offense in Russia according to the women who responded to questions; there is disbelief among the U.S. women that the Russian women are allowed to express honest opinions about certain subjects.
