Title: “Five Families of Massachusetts”. A special that showcases the lives of five families, including that of Massachusetts Governor William Weld, Louis and Helen Ford, adoptive parents of Rumeal Robinson, the Macara family, the Moss family, and the family of former Red Sox player Jim Lonborg. Mary Richardson talks with Gov. Weld and his wife about life after the gubernatorial campaign. Mike Barnicle reports on the Ford family and the early basketball career of Rumeal Robinson. Peter Mehegan reports on the Macara, a multigenerational family living in Provincetown. Also includes an interview with Barbara Rushmore, activist and partner of Peter Macara. Susan Wornick reports on the Moss family, with interviews with parents Austin and Teresa Moss, and eldest daughter Kiyon Moss. Clark Booth reports on Jim Lonborg and his family, with footage of ‘Old Timers Day’ at Fenway Park, including Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams.
