Night Shift: Pain, Death & Suffering; 20th Anniversary edition; Heather Cabot and Hill Harper host the episode that features Anne Helmstadter"s graduate thesis Closed Door; Ellen Colton, Tim Jackson, and Jennifer Maxcy, are the actors in this staged presentation; Tim Jackson explores the room he finds himself in alone; a woman enters and converses about what a torturer looks like; a third person enters and expresses concerns about the room; they each take up pursuits of drawing, dancing and guitar playing; they give up being polite to each other and decide to talk about why they are locked together in this room; they each talk about how they were cruel to someone else; each of them sees the future of the people they left behind; they continue to annoy each other and lament their current circumstance; a monologue by Hill Harper presents the work of George C. Wolfe, titled The Colored Museum;
