Miller's Court: Anatomy of a Criminal Case, Part I; An off-duty cab driver picks up an apparently ill fare, and then is robbed by the fare; the cab driver is stabbed during the robbery but later able to identify the robber but only through use of hypnosis; Arthur Miller introduces the court room set up; he will serve as judge, Paul Buckley and Alan Derschowitz will serve as lawyers for each side of the case; black screen breaks; each of the procedural aspects of a criminal court case are demonstrated by the attorneys and judge and court room players; in voiceover Arthur Miller explains why the attorneys and court room players are doing some of the activities portrayed; Miller asks the lawyers about their strategies; the jury is unable to reach a verdict;
