Miller's Court: Deadly Defense; A man responds to a series of break-ins by putting a sign in his window that it is booby-trapped, but it still results in the death of an intruder; Arthur Miller introduces the lawyers, Tom Reilly and Willie Davis, who will argue each side of the case before a jury; audience members are invited to call in their vote of guilt or innocence; Arthur Miller asks the lawyers about their strategies; the jurors are asked for their opinions; 7 jurors voted the defendant not guilty of manslaughter, and 5 voted guilty of manslaughter; the tally slate of call in votes is blank;
