Miller's Court: For Richer or Poorer; Future earning as Alimony is the subject of the court case that develops but the scene opens with a hospital hallway and a female doctor receiving congratulations from a staff member on her new appointment out of state; when she gets home she tells her spouse that she want to make the move alone; he files suit for alimony that includes a portion of her expected earning; Raoul Felder and Cecile Welch are the attorneys who question the plaintiff and the defendant before a jury; black screen breaks; the two sides present their versions of the marriage objectives; the lawyers share their strategies with the jurors, and the jurors share their views of the arguments. The jurors voted 7 to 5 in favor of the doctor.
