AbstractMiller's Court: Complications; Expectant parents leave home for the hospital with a midwife helping the emergency staff; the baby dies soon after delivery; the midwife is being sued for practicing medicine without a license; Arthur Miller introduces the lawyers, Thomas Durkin and Nancy Gertner, who present the sides of the case before a jury; black screen breaks; the lawyers are asked about their strategies; the jurors are asked what they thought about the issues; 10 jurors found the midwife not guilty, and 2 found her guilty;
