Jabberwocky J116 "Language"
Jabberwocky; Language; JoBeth, Tucker, and Mr. B play games with the words they use; theme song and visuals; JoBeth and Tucker practice a play for Dirty Frank; Frank says he doesn't understand the metaphors and figures of speech used in the play; they explain but then he says its just plain terrible; black screen breaks; a game called "What's the Word" is played; Mr. B shows Dirty Frank some items he has invited: a hat band, sponge cake, a place for sleeping pills, a fur collar coat, eyeglass, a hammer for toenail, a gun with a hair trigger, a ball gown, Alphabet Soup for eating your own words, dog eared book, and then Mr. B points out all the things that have the same name but are different from one another; Tucker and the kids play a game with pictures and naming what they mean; the kids tell riddles, and then they listen to a version of "who's on first";
