Jabberwocky J40 "Machines"
Carl and Trina introduce the episode, while Mr. Buchanan works on a new invention. Title sequence: ‘Jabberwocky’. Mr. B leads a group of children at the Worcester Science Center [Now the EcoTarium]. The children try using simple machines. The cast talks about inventors and fame. Dirty Frank imagines a world without various inventions. Animation of a caveman inventor. Dirty Frank and Mr. B talk about machines. Footage of Robert Goddard and people identified in narration as the “German Rocket Society” [Verein für Raumschiffahrt?], and other rockets propelled vehicles, including the Opel RAK 1 and a (nonfunctioning) jet pack.
