Jabberwocky J22 "Understanding"
Jabberwocky: Understanding; theme music and visuals; Carl introduces the show and Frank tries to interrupt; black screen breaks; Trina talks about ways that people hurt each other's feelings; a film titled The Red White and Blue One demonstrates the point that prejudice is one way to hurt another person; Frank and Trina play a children's game called Mother and Father; Trina wants to play the Father, and so does Frank because the role of Father gets to do all the cool stuff; neither of them wants to be the mother/housewife; they argue about whether boys are better than girls; Trina imagines what she would do if she were President; a film titled The Flutterbye tells a story about the flutterbye, and what it could do; when the flutterbye disappeared then people began treating each other badly; children sometimes spot one, so there is hope that the world might be saved, and again be a much nicer place; the story, voices and music for this film are by Chris and Alex Phillips, aged 11 and 8 respectively; the animation is by Jeff, Doug and Jerry Rector, ages 8, 9 and 11 respectively;
