Jabberwocky J17 "Tall Tales"
Jabberwocky: Tall Tales; Trina, Carl, Frank and studio children make statements that are obviously not true about what they have done or what they like; theme music and visuals; a series of still shots with voiceover claims about what is pictured, and all of them are conveniently untrue; players tell as story about untrue statements and what happens to everyone in the community who relies on these statements; the lies about everyone and everything created a world that was unpredictable; a group of children call on a neighbor asking to work for pay; they wash windows, mow the grass, clean the floors and dishes, and find ways to get into a bit of trouble; when they are done they get only a single pay amount; they decide to split up as a way to get paid person, rather than paid as a group; their work makes more work for all of the neighborhood, and the neighbors begin to fight with each other; a police officer tries to sort out the details, the first neighbor ends up paying for all the damage and paying the children more for the work they did for him earlier; black screen breaks; Trina and Carl talk with the studio children about what a lie is, and what can be the consequences; Frank and Carl try out a lie detector machine that Mr. Buchanan created; Carl discovers that Trina lied to him about getting the surprise box ready for the show;
