On Bronze Shoulders: Avery Brooks hosts; Boxing's history often begins with English sportsmen, but in the 1800s things changed; Black slaves are brought to England to change the score; George Dixon, or Kid Chocolate, makes a name for himself and begins to change things in the U.S. Floyd Patterson is interviewed; by 1908 Black boxers are more numerous and winners; Bert Sugar talks about the attitudes of the time and Jack Johnson; the history of Joe Louis is told, through voice over and still photos; Muhammad Ali's rise and fall is described;
