Two children at shrubbery exterior of home. Man emerges. He gives girl device for watering flowers. It is small sprinkle bottle. Boy watches as girl waters plants. Boy now sprays plants. 28:59. Woman sits in rocking chair outdoors. Children sit at side. Woman has small animal extended on string. Children watch. Woman dangles item on end of string for animal to grab. Animal grabs at item. Animal's smallness renders difficult to discern what it is. 29:24. Girl kneels on porch as small animal approaches. It appears to be mouse or rat. It plays with small item on end of string. Animal hops about at base of rocking chair. Now it grabs at item dangling from string. Animal is a chipmunk. Chipmunk chews on item. Runs away. Dangling item. Chipmunk bites item causing chair to rock. Chipmunk darts around in area. 30:49. Miniature log cabin, toy. Chipmunk crawls on roof. Chews on item. Darts out of window. Crawls on roof and nibbles on treat extended at side. Continues same. 31:43. Two girls at car exterior. Boy approaches. The three climb into rear rumble seat. Man approaches with circular container. 31:54. Two women talking. Woman at left uses hands to emphasize point for elderly woman at right. Both are outdoors. Helicopter spins in sky. 32:07. Another joins it. Both turn, do aerial gymnastics. Man, women watch from field as helicopter lands. One helicopter is still aloft. The other resumes flying. Lone 'copter. Now two airplanes are aloft. They fly over trees. 33:00. Middle-aged couple sitting on bench outside. They are talking. Man has cane or walking stick. 33:09. Woman wields golf iron. Gives ball a swing. She jumps up and down briefly, resumes playing game. Gives ball vigorous swing. Three golfers. One has irons in case or satchel. Woman, person with irons in satchel watch man apply iron to ball. Woman waves as she walks forward. The other two advance. 33:51. Three women walk on woodland path. One lingers in back as the other two advance. 34:01. Group of women around car exterior. 34:10. Snow on ground. Academic building. Children on walkway. Two little girls. One at left has lifesize doll. It looks like infant. Adults now traverse walkway. Another little girl carries doll. Man is smoking pipe. Women walk arm-in-arm. Some in this group carry packages. Academic building. Lone girl hurries down walkway. Back to camera, girl runs down walkway. Two women approach, one with items under her arm. Girl ascends walkway with women. Man, woman amidst bare trees. Silhouette shot. 35:39. Three girls stand in snow. Trees in background. Boy enters scene. Stands at left. Three girls, boy stands in back. 36:00. Girl in window. She has three kittens. Oilcloth curtain pull hangs in her face. She heists it up. She has one kitten under her arm. 36:21. Girl and sheperd dog at door of home. Girl is costumed. Dressed as a Dutch girl. Columned roof protects doorway. She steps forward. Boy and girl walk in yard. Boy is dressed as a Dutch boy. They walk through gate which is enclosed in fence. They enter waiting car. Arm in arm, boy and girl stand on walkway. Girl has now removed her hat. Boy wears Dutchman's hat and big black tie such as males in that country wore at the time. Girl dons mop-like, comic wig. 37:11. (Film now is in color.) Woman and young man. Woman swimming. She holds nose and dives under water. Young blonde woman looks up. She talks. 37:29. Sparse foliage. Clouds are on sky horizon. Breeze wafts bush branches. 37:56. Woman and girl kneel as they work at base of foliage. They are digging in the soil, weeding, etc. Woman laughs. Girl beside of her is not much younger than she. 38:19. Group picnicing. Young man eats as he fans himself. Pile of fruit is available. Woman tries to awake young man asleep on blanket. He refuses to be awoken. He covers himself with blanket, but she pulls it aside. He still refuses to awake. (Film has reverted to black and white.) Now she pulls blanket from underneath him. 39:02. Group of men. One is spraying bushes with gushing hose. Men behind him elevate hose from ground. He lifts spray higher. Bush tops with spray descending on them. 39:33. Group having barbecue. Women turning handle of ice cream freezer, the old-fashion manual type. One woman holds the freezer firmly as other woman turns handle. Another woman packs ice around inside container. Ice packing, handle turning continue. Woman switches positions to relieve handle attendant. More ice is packed inside. Three girls lick 'cladder' or interior center of freezer. This is where the ice cream itself was made, frozen. They rise and resume crouching, trying to lick the last bit of ice cream from the cladder. 40:31. Group standing on rocks, shoreline boulders. Woman waves. Girl holds ear of corn attached to fork over campfire. Other girls watch her. Woman folds meat up in bread. Young African-American man sits at left. The group goes on with their barbecuing. Different members trying cooking eatables over flames of campfire. Woman bites into ear of corn she has roasted over fire. She tries to talk, but breaks into laughter. Another woman eating ear of corn moves her head so hair will not remain in her face. Blonde girl bites into her ear of corn. She laughs, turns around. Woman eats sandwich which is like a bun. She consumes it with great enjoyment. But then, she makes a face as if there were something unpleasant on the bun. She turns away. Sun on the horizon. 41:45. Woman dressed for winter sits on sled with dog. Spreading his legs, man balances self on skiis. Slowly, he inches himself forward. He skiis smoothly forward. (This part of reel is in color, starting with dog and woman aboard sled.) He pauses as pickup truck passes by. Girl walks on skiis carefully in yard. Using poles, man skiis behind her. Girl, man ski downhill. Man at side. 42:25. Snow-covered ground, bare trees, skiers walk up hill. Skier ascend up hill while holding onto rope, sort of a manual ski-lift. Girl skier ascends. Girl skier. Man behind balances self with poles. Girl skiis downhill. Using poles, man does same. Another skier descends from opposite direction. Woman skier who has fallen. Skiers ascend hill as they carry skiis in hands and under arms. 43:31. Young man emerges from home. He sets dog down. Dog wears small 'doggy skiis' on each paw. Crouching down, man gives dog a push. Dog walks clumsily in snow. Dog wags tail and walks forward. 43:48. Silhouette of trees. Snowy ground. Houses in distance. Brambly, sparse bushes. Horizon. Birch trees. Small wooden bridge. Two horses draw sleigh down country road. Silhouette of man walking across snow. Horizon. Snowy ground. 44:41. Group of unharnessed sled dogs. Shot is shadowy. 44:46. Spring. Woman pushes hand lawnmower as man walks behind her. Dog is in view. Tree, foliage. Woman, wearing wide-brimmed hat, pushes lawnmower. Man pushes, gas-powered, mechanical lawnmower.
