Jan. 1979: Ned & Dandy on skates out front; then the kids in the snow on a hill at Gratzes ***** Feb.: Big snow, with made us housebound, without kids, including a walk to the highway with the Finger family; Easter, with Patty & kids out front; then a Mother's day visit to the Burke house in Chevy Chase, featuring Denny, Frannie, Luke & others ***** Maura's communion outside church & then a cake at home with Heather, Danny, & Vincent Macrine; then the next-day May crowning, with Doreen crowning & Sammy Macrine carrying the crown (Gratz relatives, Toners, & Maura's girlfriends abound); then a brief shot of kids outside with a big & little frog ***** July: Our annual Vermont vacation, beginning with a rainbow over Greensboro; outside the Hunt newly-acquired cottage with Paul & kids; then an open house at the J.F. Rodgers Farm; then kids swimming at the dock, including a view from the water ***** A visit to the Alpine Slide near Stowe, with a picnic lunch between "slides"; an evening shot at the railroad bridge; then a visit to the Bald Hill fish hatchery near Bolton.
