Leon Williams Lumber Co. including the group gathered around an older man, learning how to measure the width of logs from two other men, watching a truck unload logs, watching a workman in the lumber yard, playing on a snow hill, inspecting a fir tree, watching the older man demonstrate a measuring device that bores into a tree, flattening branches and leaves on pieces of paper inside and inspecting a pine cone. A shot of a man walking through the snow. Footage of a boy helping a man measure logs. A shot of the lumber yard. A shot of men unloading logs from a truck. The boys watch a man working on a truck full of logs. A shot of a sign that reads, “Maine Tree Farm R.I. Ashman” Notes on can: “4-H Forestry Film Color Silent Return to L.P.
