Supplied by the Historic Movies of Martha’s Vineyard project at the Vineyard Gazette in Edgartown, Massachusetts:
Initial shot shows the same single-master at a pier along the Edgartown waterfront, a man and a helper getting ready to raise sail. Cut to the cockpit of what appears to be a catboat, with a hired captain at the wheel. Scenes of boat racing on the outer harbor, and a yawl entering the harbor entrance. Also of an older man at the bathing beach throwing a dog into the water.
