One of several reels of film that depicts a group of school teachers on a seven-week University of Maine sponsored bus tour of the U.S., which started and ended at Orono, Maine.
Intertitle: "Augusta." Views of Capitol, including large bell outside the building. Views of Governor's Mansion, Blaine House, in Augusta.
Intertitle: "Hiram, Maine Sesqui-centennial 1964." Parade through the village with military color guard, floats, fire trucks, Kiwanis floats, children with farm animals, Grange floats, band on float, boys scouts. Brief clip of Charlotte Cole (Clemons' sister), her husband Dr. Phillip A. Cole, and Clemons' cousin Betty Manchac exiting house. Country fair is set up with Ferris wheel and other rides. Views of fireworks at night. Aerial views of village along river.
