1940 – 1941
Family and friends picnic on grass. People watch as a group of young boys in track uniforms race down the street. It is winter and a road is covered with snow. A woman and her son stand in the cold. A barn in a forest is on fire. The barn collapses as onlookers watch. People stand around a wagon. A man holds up two fish he has caught. Boys on the coast play baseball. Boys race through the town. Boys practice throwing. Tractor digs up earth and then disposes of it. Couple picks cherry blossoms from tree. Flowers. Scenic shot of the coast. A car drives through the coast. Parade: People dressed up as Indians. Floats include; "Good Year Tire", "God Bless America", "Bundles for Britain", and "Pollard's Poultry". A family grills food outside for barbecue. A little boy tends the fire. A memorial is covered by flowers on grassy green. A young couple stands outside eating apples. They embrace. Church steeple and windows. A sunset. Men stand at an Esso gas station next to a Coca Cola machine. Women in bathing suits.
