Wyman is a peaking plant, which means it is dispatched to operate during times of high electricity demand in the region. It is capable of creating 823 megawatts of electricity. In 1999 a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources acquired a majority of the megawatts of the facility, and operates the facility. HAS looking down on equipment waiting to be installed.
