Box notes: "1930- Wyoming- Ranch #1- Haystacking; airplane"
In a large open field on a Wyoming ranch, a man drives a two-horse team pushing a load of hay to a central area where a large catapult-like device is loaded with the hay. Two other horses in a team then pull away, making the device rise up and dump the hay in a large, tall pile (haystacking). Long views of a hay cutter behind a motorized tractor in a field. Closer views showing the hay being pushed out of the machine into small bundles to be picked up. Long views of a small biplane flying over the Wyoming mountains, silhouetted against the sky. The plane lands in the field, then taxis. Views of the plane taxiing toward the camera in the hayfield, then taking off.
Three young women watch as a young boy rolls in a large canvas bag in a corral on the ranch.
