AbstractCan notes: "December 1934, Elmwood Feb. 1935, Franconia" Cross country skiers in forested area. Views from top of hill as skiers start down toward open farmland below (underexposed). There is no ski lift. Most are beginners. Ski area with large hotel in background. Views of an area where people jump moguls, another where people cross country ski, and pan mountains around the ski area, not all of which have visible snow. Group taking a ski lesson, climbing the hill, skiing down. POV from a skier who has camera attached to his body as he skis around a cross country skiing track, and follows skiers away from a barn across a field. People go down a shallow slope, making curves of beginning skiers.
