Date from edge code on film. // Sportscaster Bruce Glasier does mock/joke interviews with people in parking lot on what they think of the Red Sox; one man says 'Never wear them with blue pants!'; another man has his car stolen during the interview, is momentarily upset, then continues the interview; very funny footage; from 'Sports Archive Reel 2'.
Sportscaster Bruce Glasier does mock/joke interviews with people in a parking lot on what they think of the Red Sox; the first interviewee, a man in a sports jacket and necktie, says the club let all the good players go so he doesn't see how they can make it with the team they have now; the next man, in a hurry wearing a blue suit jacket and dark necktie, says when asked what he thinks about the Red Sox, that they should never be worn with blue pants, and hurries off; the third man, walking stiff-legged and wearing a white knit shirt, is startled when stopped by Glasier; he says Red Sox sounds just like Red Fox, so they should do pretty good; a fourth man who is getting out of a late model car wearing a dark jacket and striped necktie, reluctantly responds to the question of what he thinks of the Red Sox; as he says how he is disappointed in the Sox, another man slides into the interviewee's car and drives off; though he protests about his car is being stolen, for a moment, he goes on to talk at length about the difference between the old-time players who really knew how to hit a ball and the newer players who he thinks are inferior;
