B&W – A young girl, boy, and woman (Polly Porter) stand on a small beach. [Potomac River?] Sheltie dog on a leash. The boy breaks a stick and throws it into the water. They walk away from the camera. They walk out of a building with the sign: “Railway Mail Service Air Mail Field Transfer Office”. This is probably Washington-Hoover Airport in Arlington, Virginia. They join a crowd looking at a Kellett autogyro. An PCA (Pennsylvania Central Airlines) airplane taxis. The girl and boy lead a dog (Sheltie) down the street and get into a car, followed by three women. The little girl jumping rope. The boy climbs on the railing of a porch.
Women in dresses lined up in a receiving line. A woman in a white flowered dress, white hat, and white fox stole (Eleanor Roosevelt) at the head of the receiving lone. The camera starts on her and pans down the line of women. A woman walks toward the camera adjusting her clothes and smiling. A large crowd of women seated outside. Portraits of several women who walk toward the camera talking. Women in a line smile and wave at the camera. A woman (Molly Dewson) smiles and walks toward the camera. Eleanor Roosevelt walks by and smiles at the camera. People on stage, some men with guitars in the front singing, Washington Monument in the background. Pan from the stage out over the crowd.
