AbstractThe footage contains intertitles from a film entitled The Five Outposts Of Harvard about two observatories, two botanical gardens and Harvard Forest in Petersham, MA. The intertitles give some information on Boyden Station of the Harvard University Observatory in Bloemfontein, South Africa, and another, unidentified outpost. Donor Notes: “3 small spols [sic] (not in Reels) unknown ~ 1940” The Five Outposts of Harvard Part III is Reel 23C of the Harvard Forest Collection.
