Viewing NotesIn town, children playing in snow with dog 10:47 Children bent over paddling snow through their legs at each other. Three boys and dog; kid dives into pile of snow headfirst. Scooping snow with snowshoes; bury one boy in snow. House visible in background with long glassed-in porch and two shrubs out front. All three children have knit hats with pompoms. They wear knickers or trousers tucked in boots. Big light flashing at end of reel. 12:47 BHF House in snow; fast pan. 13: 27 In town, snowy. Boy and two girls come out of house and down walk. Two girls head right on sidewalk; they wear hats with pompoms. Short hedge along sidewalk. Nice sequence: 13:33 Boy comes down walk on skis from porch of house. Two young girls come into frame 14:01. Man walks up shoveled path, tips hat twice and smiles at camera. Two girls tussle with each other then boys in snow again paddling snow through their legs. 14:40 Girl riding pony on sidewalk in snow towing other girl on sled behind, cantering fast. great shots. The sled is a flexible flyer and it looks dangerous. Snowy street but signs of tire tracks. Girl leading pony with another girl riding on snowy street in town – they go past a boy finishing a snow cave (igloo) 16:10 He crawls inside; it’s well formed and about four feet high. 16:27 Boy skating on pond wearing knickers, jacket, tie, woolen cap. Able to go backwards, turn easily, balance on one skate. Snow is piled around the pond. People are sliding down a hill in the background. Houses in the distance. Other people on pond. Girl skater joins him. She wears knickers and knit hat, too. Is more unsteady on skates. 18:30 They hold each others shoulders. Four children in frame.
