Drama: Remake of D.W. Griffith film about suffering young woman spurned by her husband. She loses baby, then is forced to find work. She becomes family's maid, falls in love with family's son, and is found out when gossipy woman tells family of her disgrace. She flees house during storm and is rescued off ice floe by her young man, who marries her.
