Viewing NotesDVD slate: Reel 54. DOB Sunset 1930. [incorrect slate: this is company picnic at Juniper Hill] Man with cigarette walks woman on horse; then he rides the horse with many cars in background. Outdoor meal at long table. Almost all women in cloche hats. Camera position at one point from standing on table. Man eats corn on the cob comically. Woman laughs. Plate of clams (eaten). Portraits of women, some laugh, some hide. One woman chews stolidly, then looks up and smiles. Man in boater hat raises jug. Woman with paper bag on her head runs. We are outside Juniper Hill probably for a Dennison company picnic and field day. Line of people with paper bags on their heads run. Games. Women in a spoon race picking things up off the lawn and running back to beginning. Men put on dresses and hats and carry suitcase for a race; women put on pants and tuck their dresses into pants for a race.
