The logs are large. One of them is measuring the logs. View of logs on a river. Mill. Man rolls log onto carriage to go into mill, two others (one a boy) help him. Good view of adjusting the log once the first slab is sawn off. Spray of sawdust as second side is removed. Color is faded. CU of arm and hand in foreground, log moves into mill and board is sawn. Man moves next log onto carriage. Man measures it. Sawing; view of grain revealed when slab sawn off.
