Compiled reel of black-and-white and color home movies of the 1938 Grose wedding and of the extended Houston family and grandchildren, including newborn granddaughter Judy.
Reel opens on black-and-white scenes of the bride flanked by two women blow-drying her hair. Following brief scenes of the church ceremony is a longer sequence of the guests in attendance at the reception on the lawn of the Houston home in Great Neck, NY. Cut to interior, some dim scenes by fireplace, Mrs. Houston reading a newspaper. A man in the kitchen towel-dries drinking glasses. Cut to exterior, Oscar on lawn, seated, smiling. Two women on a boat, others relaxing on a porch, smoking. Cut to color. Gardens, a young girl with doll picks flowers. Dogs. Cut to black-and-white. A newborn baby on a blanket, scenes with mother. Cut to color. Two babies in a playpen outdoors, mothers standing by, playing horseshoes. Three fathers gather together for a group portrait holding their children. Mrs. Houston picking flowers from garden.
